Gandhi's  Issue

Question:

Was Gandhi stealing salt from the government, or was he simply breaking the law which gave the British the exclusive right to produce salt?

Answer:

     If you're going to analyze further the situation or the scenario, there is the case or side that states Gandhi did not steal salt from the British government for the reason that is it not clearly stated from the story that Gandhi and his diciples get it or keep the salt. And for also the fact that they are in their own land. And other states that Gandhi broke the law because he and his decipledoes not abide by the law of their government.

Author's View

      "Owning a "right" which is a form of "imaginary property" is not the same as owning the real property. If someone violates your exclusive rights, they may be breaking the law, but they are not stealling. To claim otherwise is silly and dishonest."
